This document provides instructions for filling out the 1040EZ tax form. The 1040EZ Form is for taxpayers with taxable income below $100,000 who take the standard deduction instead of itemizing deductions. Among additional restrictions, you must have a filing status of single or married filing jointly, be under the age of 65, not be claiming any dependents and you can only claim the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC).
